Overview

The Peace Corps Strategic Campus (Strat) Recruiter will increase awareness of Peace Corps Volunteer opportunities on campus through a variety of recruitment activities, including but not limited to:

Delivering class or club presentations
Tabling in public, high-traffic areas on campus and/or at career fairs.
Organizing and facilitating application workshops and retention events.
Developing relationships with key stakeholders on campus.

Evening and weekend hours may be required depending on campus activities.

Responsibilities May Include:

Distribute agency-approved brochures, posters, visual aids, and other Peace Corps recruitment materials. Complete class talks or presentations, some targeting diverse populations on campus. Facilitate application workshops aligned with Peace Corps deadlines. Staff recruitment tables at university events or career fairs. Organize and facilitate retention events (e.g., welcome/send-off parties, Peace Corps Week, RPCV panels). Conduct relationship-building meetings with key stakeholders across campus (including diversity offices and student orgs). Maintain regular office hours for meeting prospective applicants. Collect leads digitally and input partnership data into Peace Corps systems. Meet application and lead goals set by the Peace Corps. Write and submit a strategic plan and regular reports (monthly, mid-year, final)

Attend mandatory virtual Strat trainings
Respond promptly to Peace Corps and campus communications. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (RPCV)
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to complete tasks independently
Demonstrated experience in event planning, public speaking, and partnership-building
Confidence in networking and outreach.

Additional Information

Final selection is contingent on Peace Corps approval and passing a background check
