This session is designed to help PCVs and RPCVs make more intentional and authentic steps when considering their career plans and/or transitions. Join the conversation with Eleanor Bedford (DPT China), Dani Choi (RPCV Morocco), and Kim Murphy (RPCV Sri Lanka) as we learn about how mindset, resource exploration, networking, and actions can come together to help you build your dream career pathway.

You gave years — maybe decades — to something that mattered. Now the ground has shifted beneath you. The loss isn’t just professional; it lives in your body. In this session with Marina Pellicciotto (RPCV Mexico), we’ll use simple yoga poses, breathwork, and freewriting to move from problem-solving mode to the deeper wisdom you carry in your body. We’ll make space for grief and dreaming – because people who chose a life of purpose once will find it again. Endings are invitations.

Starting something from nothing — especially across cultures and in underserved communities — takes more than a good idea. It takes grit, deep local knowledge, and a willingness to learn as you go. Join as Maureen Herman (RPCV Paraguay) and Lucy Marcil (RPCV Namibia) share hard-won lessons from founding and leading mission-driven organizations that create real, lasting change and what kept them going.
This session is proudly delivered in partnership by RPCVnexus and Women of Peace Corps Legacy.

Understand the connections between Peace Corps and AmeriCorps, and how one can lead to the other.
In this 60-minute session, we’ll hear from Volunteers who served in both programs including Gabe Jackson (RPCV Botswana & AmeriCorps San Antonio) and Meredith Meads (RPCV Albania & AmeriCorps Baltimore). Learn about recruitment, what the transition between them actually involves, and how to position your service experience — whether you’re just finishing up or thinking about what comes next.

You’ve already lived the story. This session is about learning to tell it in a way that opens doors.
Networking doesn’t have to feel transactional. For PCVs and RPCVs, your Peace Corps experience is a natural foundation for authentic connection — and one of your most underused career tools.
In this 90-minute virtual workshop, you’ll practice turning your service story into a compelling narrative for professional networking. Leave with a sharper story, practical techniques, and new connections.
