The activities RPCVnexus carries out are free for RPCVs.
Help us keep it that way!

RPCVnexus hopes to continue providing Current and Returned Volunteers with free resume reviews, career panels and skill discussions, a virtual network, and a mentoring program. We ask the RPCV Community to help us pay it forward through article writing to share knowledge, volunteering time as we build out resources and abilities, or donating so we can keep the lights on. If you’re able to, please consider contributing in one of the following ways:

Article Writing

There’s a lot of experience across the Peace Corps Community. Share what you’ve lived and learned so that others may learn and follow your footsteps or avoid hardships you experienced. We ask that articles are between 500 and 1,000 words in length. Please note and hyperlink any resources you used, certificates or degrees you gained, and pathways you recommend. Once you’re ready, send it to us!

Volunteering Time

Consider this especially if you’ve been furloughed and looking to stay busy or if you’re looking to expand a skill for a resume and get a reference as you apply for opportunities.

This is a “choose-your-own-adventure” activity based on the time you have available, be it an hour or hours each week. We ask those who have the drive to develop and lead projects that will result in funding capabilities so that we can turn Volunteer positions into paid positions. The immediate positions we look to fill include the following, though we do have other initiatives that can be tailored to benefit you:

Communications Coordinator

Fundraiser

Web Support

Project Coordinator / Developer

Joining the RPCVnexus Team

Donating

Since the start of the year, RPCVnexus has supported 94 Resume Reviews, held 7 events for 350 attendees, provided 3 resume workshops, brought together 61 mentors and mentees in an RPCV Community-Wide Mentoring Program, and launched a communication platform for PCVs and RPCVs to interact over. Needless to say, we’ve received the ask for help from those in need and are rising to the current moment. Please help us continue to provide these services to other Volunteers so they have a better opportunity than we did.
