Course – Prompt to Partner

Prompt to Partner:
A Human-Centered Approach to AI Training
Course Description
Prompt to Partner takes a practical, human-centered approach to AI training. Instead of focusing only on prompts, tools, or feature tours, this workshop helps participants build a repeatable way to work with AI as a thought partner for research, planning, communication, decision-making, and execution. Learners practice designing an AI counterpart that fits their goals, strengths, and workflow so they can produce better work with more clarity, consistency, and confidence. The course emphasizes responsible use, human judgment, and real-world application so participants leave with usable outputs they can apply immediately on the job.
Target Audience
This course is designed for professionals who do knowledge work and want practical ways to integrate AI into everyday tasks without needing a technical background. It is especially relevant for managers, project leads, consultants, nonprofit and NGO professionals, educators, researchers, analysts, program staff, business operations professionals, entrepreneurs, and small business owners. Many participants may already have experimented with AI but want more consistency, better output quality, and a clearer way to govern use. Others may be cautious about AI and need structured guidance, confidence-building practice, and examples tied to real work.
Performance Goal
Participants will effectively partner with an AI counterpart to accomplish meaningful work tasks using structured human–AI collaboration practices that improve thinking, communication, planning, and execution while maintaining human accountability for decisions and outcomes.
Learning Objectives
1. Design an AI counterpart aligned to their goals, strengths, responsibilities, and workflow needs to support more effective collaboration.
